SPARE FOOTAGE

Below is spare footage which we decided not to include in the teaser trailer & TV spot :

We chose not to include this shot due to the lights being turned on, this made the shot look less sinister.

We chose not to include footage of the antagonist applying makeup, due to wanting to keep it a mystery as to whether she, the ghost, is alive or not.

                                         

We decided not to include this shot as although the antagonist looks extremely sinister, the shot is of a slow pace, disrupting the flow of our fast pace trailer and therefore losing the intense atmosphere.

                                     

As a group, we came to the conclusion that this shot would be better viewed as a close up, and the footage includes too much of the window frame, distracting the viewer from the protagonists facial expressions which lead the audience to identify less with her.

We were unable to use this shot due to the protagonist smiling, and during the reaction. This shot was also taken off centre and therefore the framing was not at its best.
